In tonight's housing market 2020 forecast real estate report, I will be going over Washington DC, Jacksonville, & Phoenix. Washington DC housing market is getting pulled in both directions. Homes are selling for above list price, and also being listed above the list price. So it's a toss up in your are looking to buy and/or invest in Washington DC. Jacksonville is an attractive market and it is moving very quickly. There is going to be opportunities on both sides of buying/investing in real estate. As far as investing in Jacksonville, it's a good time but if you can wait there will be a better time to invest there. The housing market in Jacksonville for investing has a very solid base and tenant strength. Phoenix is an interesting area with great weather, so it's going to attract a lot of the folks making the mass exodus out of major areas such as IL, CA, & NY. There will be several thousands of people leaving California and most likely their first stop will be the Phoenix area. If you are looking to invest in Phoenix, keep in mind this housing market has some big players investing in Phoenix. Don't let that discourage you, take some creative strategies and implement them.
